CED research funding

The Centre for Economic Demography now welcomes short applications for funds for research related costs that will be incurred during 2023!

In this new round of CED research funding, we welcome you to e-mail Madeleine Jarl (madeleine [dot] jarl [at] ekh [dot] lu [dot] se) a short application no later than 31 January 2023, with description of the purpose and implementation of funding. This time we will prioritize our affiliated doctoral students and especially encourage applications with a cross-disciplinary aim within population research.

Please note that when applying, the costs must relate to activities during the calendar year 2023. It is thus not possible to use any of the funding granted after 31 December 2023.

Verifications in the form of original receipts, tickets and so forth, need to be shown before money is paid to the recipient via Primula webb, i.e. in the form of reimbursement. Examples of applicable costs are conference fees and/or travel (must have a presentation, paper, poster or such-like accepted); travel costs in relation to research visits, and other research related assignments; proof-reading assistance; and similar clearly research-related activities that you cannot find funding for elsewhere. The maximum amount granted per person and year is 15 000 SEK. Depending on the number of approved applications, the granted sum could be lower than the maximum amount.
