The work will include comparative effectiveness research, with an emphasis on causal inference methods for complex longitudinal data from both observational studies and randomized trials. Methods for benchmarking and joint analyses of trials and their emulations will be applied to two motivating use cases on the treatment of acute myocardial infarction. The research will be based on data from Swedish population and health data registers, health care quality registers and registry-based randomized trials.
