Networks for early career epidemiologists around the world: the current status and future directions

In any field of science, career development is a critical issue for early career professionals, and many attempts have been made to support their development. Networking is considered important for early career researchers because it can help them form collaborations which are good opportunities to start new research, produce highly influential work8 and find jobs. Thus, many networks have emerged globally with the aim of supporting and nurturing future leading researchers.
